vote for new characters we would like devel Original Trilogy, Prequels, Knights of the Old Republic?

Forgive me if this has been discussed before, but do the developers ever reach out to us as players and allow us to vote for new characters we would like developed into the game?

For example, I am Hoping for a more in depth use of Characters such as:
KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC:(Revan, Bastilla, Malak, Kriea, Darth Sion, Darth
Nihilus, Mission)
BOUNTY HUNTERS: Jango, Bossk, 4-Lom, Jabba, Aurra Sing
SUPPORT CHARACTERS: R2D2, C3po, BB-8, Maz, Mon Mothma, Mother Talzin, Thrawn
UPGRADED HEROS: Luke(in black), Yoda(Dagobah), Queen amidalla, Etc.
PREQUEL ERA: Padme(battle style), Jar Jar(just so I can kill him), Ki-adi-Mundi, Cap
Panaka.
LEGENDS: Darth Bane, Plagueis, Exar Kun, Malgus, Nadd, Ajunta, Ragnos, Nagga
Saddow.

Obviously some of these are no longer cannon, or EA may not have the rights to the characters use and or likeness, but it would be nice to know if there's been any discussion or inquiry on new developments. Does anyone recall EA ever asking for user opinion or feedback on new undeveloped characters?
