I think getting kicked out of TI was the problem, so i think ea/cg should not give free stuff but they have to force TI to take in youtubers!
I get the feeling many players are “1 more issue” away from dropping the game.
I personally think going casual and hoarding before quitting is the way.
Doesn’t work sometimes though unfortunately.
Overall the problems of the game are being hidden behind their profits which in essence is their bottom line. I get it. But whales and krakens will only spend for so long before the problems of the game can’t be hidden anymore and many players are so fed up with the game that the krakens, whales, dolphins and guppies will have all moved on or gone the route of many already and that’s hoard and F2P.
Problems of the game? Increasing bugs with every release, important bugs deemed “unimportant” by one person (the 5’s bug making him far less useful in 3v3, undersized squads, and mission locked CB’s/SM’s), day 1 gear bottlenecks given no relief, carbon copy content, little to no testing on new content, pack prices increasing with value of return not changing, etc.
The game can still be fun, however CG won’t be able to kick the can down the road anymore and will face a far bigger problem than if they just addressed things in the first place
problems have been there and they are still there, yet people continue the spend. Thinking people will stop spending because of the problems you just listed seems quite naive.
Anyone who has played this game intensively (which i assume spenders do) for longer than a year and are still spending apparantly don't see it as that much of a problem. So either all the money comes from new players, or players simply don't care and still spend.
