We get it EA. You like Rebels

This is yet another "too many OP Rebels" thread. Please respect my concern and if you want to argue about my views, at least come with solid evidence and not just a useless "you're wrong" comment. I understand that with the release with a new Rebel extensive movie we expected more Rebel toons. My concern is that all of these new ones being released are too powerful and wrongfully so. Rebels now have multiple cleansers, a reviver, multiple TM manipulators, multiple Rey level damage dealers, multiple tanks with taunts that rival every other tank in the game and synergize with the other OP Rebels, and have AOE damage that makes opposing tanks almost useless if they can even survive the assist onslaught of Wiggs, Chaze, and whatever this new one will be with K2 and the other Rebel. While I understand that some of these toons are behind a pay wall, that still does not address my concern. Why are they so overpowered? Eventually they will be released from out of that pay wall and when they do they will break the game, and by the time they get to that we will have new Rebels that are even more overpowered. The joke of "Star Wars: Galaxy of Rebels" is very quickly becoming the case. It's becoming irrelevant to farm any toon that isn't a Rebel or a Droid (which for some reason is still relevant despite being largely desimated by Lightsabers). EA seems to not take into account that there are other factions in this game. The last non-Rebel toon we got was ShoreTrooper and he has since been locked behind a pay wall and only having one modern tourney to farm his shards for. They need to stop releasing Rebels that completely change the game in theory or at least release other factions to compensate. Literally any faction that isn't a Rebel would be a welcomed addition to the game while these Rebels are just further cementing that EA love the Rebels despite not really focusing on the only Rebel that matters, Luke Skywalker. If it want for him destroying the Death Star, the Rebels wouldn't exsist.

  • Really long post, but to sum it all up. New OP Rebels=bad, more factions toons=good.
  • Well said. Where's mother Talzin? Where is Wicket? Why doesn't Sidious have foresight or empire synergy it's HIS empire. Could use Bosk, Thrawn, death troopers, Krennic, inquisitors, Darkside Anakin or barris, Jabba the Hutt.

Why didn't they release Krennic, Deathtrooper, or even Galen Erso? All of them would have achieved the same movie hype appeal that they are going for and they would have appeased most of the fan base that wants non-Rebel toons added.

Yep. Don't like it either. Too many and waaaaay too OP. I'm holding onto hope that one day all toons will be created equal.

Well with some exceptions. I wouldn't expect CUP and Mob Enforcer to be able to match damage with any of the Jedi.

Yes the rebels are a problem but the bigger effect is the problem is is causing player that don't drop thousands of dollars on this game. I understand not placing high in tourney due to teams with chaze and wigs with say RG. But the fact that the game uses real life are Ana teams to put you against in Galatic War is annoying. Today's I started a campaign and my first team I fought was that as described above. Oh did I mention that chaze was 6 star and 5 star while i have over 40 toons lvl 85 gear lvl X and XI wit her 4 and 5* mods. All mowed down by the first team in GW. GW is pvp

Yeah, I've started using Wiggs Chaze with Jyn as support for my GW team and so far it's able to clear the first 9 fights with ease and then I can finish with my arena team for the final couple of fights.
