We need compensation

I would like to first mention that i am not criticising the devs in any wayGod forbid,we dont know the situation behind closed doors. If CG would actually look at their forums at reflect for a few seconds, they would realise that lately they messed up a lot of things, just in the past week or so,not even talking abt all the new era stuff and drama.I'm talking about the delay of the rebel lsts with no given reasons, balancing issues within new gamemodes and forgeting important stuff like the era battles. The people are quitting the game because of repeated small(or not)mistakes.CG learnt that they can get away with those by giving the comunity freebies, which worked for a bit,but now it seems like a lot of people are leaving.I mean, the best thing they could do is get their stuff together, but they chose not to.I mean,i would be happy if a compensation reward would be given out,but i doubt that.At this point i'm not even going to mention that they should better focus on the game better, which would be better for the comunity, but also for CG.I mean,i think i can say on behalf of our comunity,we'll take compensation, but who knows for how long.I still love the game and i want it to shine, but at it's current state it makes me think if the investment of time and also money on the game is worth it.But still,i love the game,i will probably still play it for a long time.:)

PS;i just wanted to rant a little bit and bring my personnal concerns to the team.

Something that I think is a bit silly is that when the game started they used to hand out 500 crystals for being unable to log in for 15 min with a server problem, but this kind of, "Sorry about that!" gift has largely gone away.

But these gifts generate a LOT of goodwill, and they don't have to be huge to do so. Personally I think 500 crystals is a bit much unless it happens during your payout hour for Arena (used to be for both arenas but now just fleet), but imagine if they gave out 2M credits and 2 zeta mats whenever there was a log in problem, with an extra +100 crystals if it happens during your fleet payout hour? None of that is going to be enough that people are going to hope for the servers to go down, but it is enough to make people think CG cares.

They can even budget this into the economy. Plan ahead about how much stuff they want to give out for bugs, log-in problems, etc. Exclude make-goods from that budget if folks were specifically deprived of a known reward (like a journey guide event fails to deliver the shards or something else equally specific), and the rest of the budget just gets spent over the year. If you run out too soon, then the next year you either increase the budget or moderately reduce the rewards or whatever to make it work out.

But no matter how you slice it, 20-50M credits over the course of a year won't bust our economies, but a couple million at a time is enough to make players think that CG feels their pain.

It's just good marketing. Personally I don't need this. I stay in the game mostly bc of the friends I've made. We support each other and have formed our own communities. But enough people complain about this sort of thing that it seems like it matters to a significant fraction of the player base.

I mean, CG has an advertising budget. Just think of it like that, only the company doesn't have to pay anything for it.

    You sure about that?

    A few points here:

    1. CG can be obstinate; they always have been.  It seems the more the community fight them on some points, the more they knuckle down.
    2.  I would say that could change, seeing that current figures must be sending alarm bells through 'Capital House'.  However, they've sat back and watched games burn before.
    3.  In their defence though, the forums aren't the best source for well thought out critical feedback.  Yes, there are good points.  However, a large percentage of it is just toxic, non-sensical ranting.  Even when they do good things.  It's always been the way.
    4. It feels like the issues are larger than just current SWGOH.  It feels like CG is out of touch with the game, the different parts of it and what the players want/need.
    5.  It also feels to me that maybe CG are working with a smaller number of workers.  The bugs issue is borderline ridiculous, there seems to be little R&D into ideas and feedback from CG is minimal.
