It does feel frustrating in the now that others who did not pay will still max their characters, but just like Ahnaldt, most of us who aren't whales will get lvl 85 5 star characters but not a 7star Cassian.

However, have some perspective. In terms of your account, if they didn't make an error, you still spent the money you spend. You didn't lose anything. Also you're getting 'free' crystals you wouldn't have otherwise gotten so you can spend less actual dollars in the next era. 

People will complain about anything, even getting free stuff, just because other people got free stuff.
