With what happened during last era, not having enough ELC to get all of them to level 65, that's a significant change, you have to spend resources on character that is not impactful to overal progress in Coliseum
On top of that during last Era if you waited with grabbing bonus boxes from pass until last 3-4 days, amount of currency was higher
1st Pass- instead of 2k it was 7,5k
2nd pass - instead of 7,5k it was 32k
and if that was not enough to get them all to era level 65, then current amounts definitely won't be enough either, so saving some of it from need of upgrading character that has 0 impact on coliseum and Era overal, is a scummy behavior
