Weighting...
There’s a lot of talk about the unfairness in GAC. I couldn’t say if it’s right or wrong. But I was wondering why CG didn’t weight all the aspects of a roster. Such as character content (who you have)...

GP has no intrinsic value, so why not make it describe a particular toons actual mathematical advantage over another toon. There is still plenty of randomness with mods.
Weighting couldn’t work if it were static to Ultra’s point. Weighting would need to be reviewed periodically for adjustments to reworks and game progression.
Second point, I would be interested to get an example where one toon or zeta does not have a clear statistical advantage over another. Sure, it’s all about point in time performance the meta constantly changes. But I would doubt at any given time there is not a clear favorite so why not just numerically state it as such.
I would wager already in GAC, if one team had a full G13 DR team playing against an opponent which didn’t have either Revan but had a higher GP the team with the G13 would still win a majority of the time. I would even go so far as to say the G13 team could set their DR team on defense by itself and win the match, because the other team could not achieve a full clear.
