We are back from our holiday break, me specifically just came back the other day.
While I'm getting myself back into the swing of things, I want to propose this question to you all.
What would you like to see in 2025 for SWGOH? Could be anything, Quality of life suggestions, characters, abilities, new debuffs, new buffs, more of certain buffs/debuffs, less of them, etc etc
Standing request is to improve communications with the community, when in doubt it’s always better to share information and reply to questions and concerns, even when the reply will be negative. Maybe especially when addressing negative issues. Don’t go silent because then negativity will fester and grow. Also it’s better to own up to mistakes early on, people are surprisingly forgiving when you tell them you messed up. Don’t try to sugarcoat something negative and pretend it’s good for the players. We understand you need to make money but don’t lie to your players about it and make it out as the monetization schemes are fun and in themselves make the game better, we aren’t stupid.
And a friendly suggestion, when you design the new raid make sure the rng factor isn’t too big and make sure it’s positive rng that will benefit the player. Naboo is ruined by the punishing rng factor and the glaring bugs. Without those it would have been a good raid even if it’s a bit of a time sink. But the rng/bugs makes that time investment a total disaster.
I’d love to see the death of having to farm an otherwise useless toon (R8 Plo Kloon) just to meet some arbitrary GL requirement. Also, matchmaking in TW is terrible. You’ve won or lost before you even start based on how lopsided it is. And just give us the 10 daily freebies in one shot. The 10 minute wait time between (designed to make us keep logging in) is unnecessary. My GP is 12m+, I clearly play daily, no need to force that for so trivial of a reward.
I'm going to go out on a limb & say I might be speaking for the entire community given how many times I've seen this asked for.
(And yet we still don't have it even after the great mods rework of yesteryear)
But what "we the people" would like to see is the ability to UN-EQUIP a mod w/o being on the specific character screen.
Now, I've never seen anyone point this out visually, so maybe it's not clear, as such I've attached pictures & a why/what if scenario of why this is such a needed item.
Below you'll see some Potency/Potency crosses, and they are sorted by Speed w/ Lowest at the top.
NOW, if I want to replace those 3 slowest mods at 4 speed w/ any of the 5-8 speed mods that are Unequipped at the moment, I have to write down/memorize each of those characters, back out of the Mods Screen, go BACK INTO the character roster screen, hunt down those characters ONE AT A TIME, and unequip each of those Mods singly.
What we NEED is to be able to Left Click/Right Click/Hold Down for a Second etc etc to bring up an Optional Button/Menu to UNEQUIP. Ideally, you'd have the button be at the bottom of the MOD MANAGEMENT screen between "Deselect All" & "Sell" (2nd Pic Below)
Then, after you have removed 1+ Mods that you no longer want to use, you can go into the Character Select Screen & use the great new SORT function that they added into the game last year+ ago. (3rd Image)
This screen would allow us to quickly go to each toon w/o ever having to write them down, memorize them, bounce in & out repeatedly over & over again... etc etc. We can then quickly move from character to character inside the character screens using the Left/Right Arrows to equip new mods to the now open slots.
Dream request....... the above but also have a SWAP button option next to Unequip, that highlights if you have 1 Equipped Mod & 1 Unequipped mod selected. Clicking that then swaps them out w/ each other & we avoid the entire go search for the empty mod slots option.
Alternatively, you could have the swap button sequence be Select Equipped, hit Swap, then click on the Unequipped mod.
But I know, that is dreaming. Really the biggest thing is getting UNEQUIP added to Mod Management screen
Some new ships that add to each existing fleet (WITHOUT being broken like Punishing One)
Specifically at least 1 new ship for every capital ship fleet sitting at 5 or less ships already in game.
SHIPS- Chimera - Krennic’s Shuttle or Lambda Shuttle (Krennic) Endurance - ARC Trooper’s ARC-170 (ARC Trooper) Executrix - TIE Advanced-V1 (7th Sister) Finalizer - 1st Order Troop Transport (FO Executioner) Home One - Rebel B-Wing (Crewless) Malevolence – Droid TriFighter (Crewless) Negotiator - Aayla’s ETA-2 Starfighter (Aayla) Profundity - Rebel A-Wing (Crewless) Raddus – Resistance A-Wing (Crewless)
Those 9 would be a good start for 2025, I wouldn't want to overload you. We can wait for 2026 to add in another one to all 11 Cap Fleets (And you know, a Red-5 Legendary Event)
While I'm on a wish list, since there seems to always be a huge issue w/ 3v3 GAC & those that Love or Hate it.
How about we stop shifting every other GAC into something you Love/Hate & just lock GAC down into a single format.
Set up the 4 zones to look like this so that we always have 5v5 in 2 zones & 3v3 in the 3rd zone while keeping fleet.
FLEET / 5v5 5v5 / 3v3
I'd love to see this set up but have the zones "flex around" between each GAC so that fleet could be in ANY of the 4 slots & 3v3 could also be in ANY of the 4 slots, BUT, I feel like that would invalidate the nice "Saved Defense" options you guys built into GAC not that long ago. Maybe it could be Save-A & Save-B & there is only 2 "flex" patterns? Say, swapping the Fronts to Back & Back to Front?
That said, I do think the above grid would be a vast improvement to the current pattern where the GAC 3v3 Omicrons only get used every OTHER GAC, this way those 3v3 Omicrons would have a use on Offense or Defense at least every GAC.
