Don't need to be a Kraken, just a bit of a spender. $80 would be enough to get me there. I'm not doing that unless someone gives me a gift card. But the real krakens spend lots more than that. This is doable for people with a bit more financial means than I have. But the idea that it's doable F2P with just a little planning is garbage. The only ones who can do that are the tiny percentage of people who are in the very top of their arena, if they saved all their resources from when they announced Rey and if they use all of them for the vets in the time since (and that's assuming they already had the other characters). I actually meet all three of those conditions, but since I'm not very top arena my resources aren't enough to do it even doing all that.
