What exactly does gl Luke do when he transforms?

So i just unlocked gl Luke and am in the process of powering him up. I know that sith eternal emperor gains some extra abilities to his attacks when he transforms but I don't really understand what Luke does differently when he changes. I've looked over his moveset but aside from buffs I can't see anything else.
