You know, I played this close too when this game first came out, and it was always a little P2W...but what the actual heck EA??? Are you seriously so pressed for money that you introduce new game modes and rewards that are locked behind a paywall??

And itd be one thing if it was $20 and under, but $30-50 for a MOBILE GAME? where is the balance? The user expeirience isnt even better, theres just [more] i lag like crazy now whenever Im not a battle, and its crashed my game multiple times.

How long until the extreme monetization of this game either becomes balanced, or ruins the game, the rating on the appstores has drastically decreased from when I started, and even most of the 5 star reviews talk about how its money focused.

It's way more than 30-50. For the new Maul to be 7star at the end of the era, you need $600 to get all characters 7star, then you need another idk how much but looks like a few hundred to get them from 70-85. Looks like they'll have some mats needed with Maul, but otherwise the only way to level them up is from the store. So yeah, just whaling new toons for the shards is only half the battle. New journeys are now more expensive.
