What was the point of relic 10?

If your r9 toon is getting “one hit ko”, there must be something far wrong with your mods. 

I was just being hypothetical but it's just so pointless to go through all the work of getting to relic 10 just for mods to still have any say in how well the character handles in battle. 

The real question is too is why non pvp events aren't impacted by relic level. So many older events like galactic legends especially slkr and Rey are probably difficult even when at higher relic levels or non galactic legends being hard to unlock. If pvp requires no strategy outside of having higher relic levels then special events shouldn't special treatment when the character won't be any good until relic 10 anyway when unlocked

The point was to bait you into posting this thread. 

I thought it does apply to all events. When I used the LV event for the DOT feat I am pretty sure I had RD advantage, it has made AB easier and even works in proving grounds to make it easier. I have mixed experience in TB but I was trying to auto battles.

As for Mods still being important thats good. It means all the effort we have put into them is still worth it. There has always been a mod well or boost relics with adequate mod balance. I like to do both high relics and good mods for effective teams. 

At the moment R10 has not specifically added anything, as R9 without RD for along time. But I expect some R10 requirements in the future and it just gives more range on strength of rosters. I anticipate it to be a rare resource for a while so will be interesting to see where players use it.

This seems to be a scenario you’ve cooked up, though. 

What special event specifically are you suggesting will see what you fear will happen?
