What will it cost us to keep playing SWGOH??

I started playing this game when it first came out, and have enjoyed it very much over the years.  Not only do I get the chance to collect my favorite Star Wars characters, I get to throw a Lightsaber at my enemies and watch them die. Due to the recent changes and the direction this game is heading I find myself questioning... Well everything.  Will I be able to complete more than 2/40 feats on the next GC?  How many complete yet unclaimable Quests will you show me today?  Will my opponent with 8 Galactic Legends show up to our Carbonite 4 showdown in GAC?  Do I even have the same love for the game that I once had?  Does CG need a proper Sugar Daddy?

While I silently ask myself all these questions, I go over all my spreadsheets once more to make sure that I am only being bent over at a 90° angle and not that nasty 45-30° where you can be full on taken advantage of.  THE MATH CHECKS OUT.

The only question left is how much it will cost to keep this rapacious beast fed.  Will the next Episode Pass require a finger from our left hands?  If so, do we need to have all the new character shards BEFORE we cut "said finger" off?  These are the questions that need answering.
