The logic here is boggling my mind. These dots do not connect. Malak has no connection with the guild store. A botched Epic Confrontation has nothing to do with marquees. Everyone got a small bag of crystals; they could have sent these out as a Halloween Nightsister special if they wanted to give out free crystals, there was no need to manufacture a ruse via the Malak event to do it. I believe you are reaching here.
