It's supposed to be weekly, but on irregular days. So it isn't happening more or less frequently. It might be on a Friday this week, then a Monday the next. Only three days removed. But the following week it happens on Thursday. 10 days apart. Still weekly. Just irregularly weekly.

Stated duration between Credit Heists was 6-12 days. This is short of 6-12 days.

Here is a direct copy/paste of 6/24 developer update.

"What’s coming next week?
There will be a new event that we’re aiming to have go live on June 28th (please note that this date could shift slightly). This will be the new Credits event that we had previously mentioned. Here are the details and requirements:
Requires 5 Scoundrels
There are 2 versions, level 50 and 70.
You may complete each version 2 times, which will give you a total of 1 million Credits.
This event will be random when it returns, but we’re aiming for it to be at least 1 day a week and during a weekday."

Was it stated elsewhere that it would be 6-12 days? I've not seen anything but "at least 1 day a week" posted anywhere.
