Why are Jedi Guardian and Counselor still wet noodles?

You do realize that the reason the Stormtroopers don't hit anyone on the Death Star in episode IV is because Vader ORDERED them not to, right? At the beginning they have no trouble blasting into a chokepoint on the Tantive IV with minimal casualties. Later they slaughter a bunch of Jawas and Kenobi, a respected general, comments on the accuracy of the blast marks. In Episode V the stormtroopers annihilate the rebel base on Hoth. In Episode VI, the rebels have no trouble capturing the shield generator because the Emperor ordered the Stormtroopers to allow this as part of his trap. Anyone who honestly thinks that Stormtroopers are as inaccurate as they appear to be hasn't paid enough attention to the movie plotlines.

How did this go from a post about JC and JKG being (rightfully) walking piles of burning garbage to defending the aim of stormtroopers?

I've seen forum discussions get weirder and less relevant than this in fewer comments...besides, I don't think the original topic merits further discussion.
