Would be nice if we could assign datacrons to specific squads in the squad mock up, kinda like GAC defense. So many times ...mostly in TW, I forget or assign the wrong one. Seems like they're here to stay, may as well integrate them fully.
You can make a squad with characters you haven't unlocked yet. If you have a datacron in SA or and leave it on defense during the dusting, it simply disappears and only the last played squad remains. Squad tabs should be able to function the same way. The expiring cron would simply disappear from the saved squad.
I'd argue that the squads themselves have become transient as different datacrons pull characters from squad to squad as they change.
The code to make it happen is already there in the GAC defense setup, they'd just need to apply to a different area?
The problem is Datacrons aren’t “here to stay”. They expire, and I imagine that is the issue with the squads feature.
I don’t disagree that it would be good to have the facility to include them on the squad tab, but I have my doubts that this is something that CG could do easily.
Yeah, having to repeatedly search for the desired datacron is frustrating. I had been thinking about this over the weekend.
We should be able to include datacrons in squad tabs, it's really silly that we can't. Datacrons aren't new. They've been around for years.
