I can answer that: FOMO.
The intention is that if players think when bundles are available that this is their only chance to get it, or get it at that price instead of a future higher price then players who might pass on them will be more tempted to buy.
Yep, it sounds counter intuitive to having them available all the time but you can be sure CG/EA have metrics on which method them the most money.
Apart from that I agree from a player perspective having them permanent would be great.
But I’m referring only to the new-player bundles that are already permanently available in the in-game store, which is currently not working. While the in-game store bug is being fixed, why not make those same bundles available in the Web Store as well? This would give new players a way to purchase them while providing a temporary alternative until the in-game store is working again.
