Why Discontinue Tournaments ***MEGATHREAD***

I just jumped on the bronze bandwagon because I kind of felt like I was stuffing ally points in my mattress. And you know what? That "junk" gear is actually useful. I filled three slots on death trooper right away, and I can fill some slots on my higher gear toons too...the stuff that's an exponential maze of requiring two of every sub gear. Also, I've started to farm Jawas, and was able to fill some slots on them from bronze.

This was all gear I would've had to grind low energy nodes for. Given that so many people are starting to run out of sim tickets, this helps in two ways. To say nothing of the hundreds of shard shop currency I've easily collected, and I did promote a few of my toons that aren't on farm status right now.

And you know what? I still have 325k left. So I can keep opening bronze and still save a start of a nest egg for if we ever need them for something else.
