I had a feeling a lot of the tournament lovers would be in here, lamenting the tourneys demise. I would like to point out that EA/CG stated that their own data shows that the tournaments were a disaster. Clearly people were participating less and less if at all.
I saw no evidence of cheaters. I am not saying they weren't a factor, but really only the players at the top would see something like that. For the vast majority of us that were trying to scratch and claw for 20 shards instead of 15, we just felt the pain of an awful tournament design.
I am not sure why anyone would even waste their time offering up tweaks to the tournaments. They stated that the whole format is likely not salvageable and it was back to the drawing board to try and redesign the whole thing.
