Sure, it did take a lot of ally points, but it also took a very deep roster and a lot of planning and forethought. If you don't have those things, don't expect to win! Not everyone gets a trophy and an orange wedge with their participation medal.
I personally sacrificed a TON of other rewards to accumulate ally points for use in the tournaments. I also spent a ton of time accumulating a deep and balanced roster as opposed to a top heavy team. As such, I already pay a price in arena because I can't compete with the top heavy teams. You don't see me complaining about that, as it is a choice I've made and accept the consequences.
If the tournaments are not coming back, then we should at the very least be allowed an option to get equal compensation for the vast accumulation of ally points, and the **** cards you get for ally points aren't enough. I have over a million ally points saved up, which equates to about 2 months of rewards from full clears of galactic wars. Perhaps a reasonable compromise would be the option to trade back ally points for galactic war rewards and the ability to spend those converted rewards in bulk. Regardless, we should indeed be compensated.
Careful. People have been banned around here just for making sarcastic compensation demands that were nothing more than a joke. At any rate, your ally points are for bronziums. They may have another reason to use them in the future so you can save some. That is all the the compensation you deserve.
