The reason that people were participating less was that people had run out of Ally points, and CG put so many tournaments back to back in a short window that people got burned out and blew all their currency. Tournaments were great, an amazing source of mats, gear even if u managed to get top 200!!
Tournaments were amazing, they just needed to slow the pace at which we got them. That model versus the new model of character introduction of 2999 crystals for toons is a ton better. At least with Touneys you could wait out the next one and if you placed well had a useable character.
