Why Discontinue Tournaments ***MEGATHREAD***

Since this is megatread hope devs are following it. I will just plead my somewhat unique case for bringing back tournaments. I understand why tournaments might have not been best format for introduction of characters and kind of accept that with some regret though. My problem is that without tournaments I really don't have a meaningful challenge for my teams in this game. Way ahead of my shard (due to spend not necessarily skill but I have always been accurate in moving with the new meta in real time) and GW is a joke. So my issue is that I don't have opportunity any more to play with top players in the game. So please bring tournaments back in some way shape or form. I also agree old model was to time consuming so something lighter on bi-weekly basis would be nice. Even if rewards would not be so significant.

Now this relates to squad arena, ships are a different story and very challenging indeed.
