Why do F2P players always have to let you know they're F2P?

Are F2P players the new vegan? Just about every thread has that one guy that pops in and says "I'm F2P blah blah and ea is just after my money blah blah oh did I say I was F2P, well I am..." Do...

Very lame excuse or justification for calling yourself F2P.....although you could have easily mentioned the following:
*Please don't recommend any P2P toons*.

At least then you are not lying.

Either way...calling yourself F2P or P2P doesn't give anyone a special cookie.
At the end of the day...it's about your skill.
