Why do I have to do more work?!?
Why do I have to do more work than I should? The purge era quest says to get purge 100 time and I have to do it 200 times WHY? Please let me know if you are experiencing anything like this.

It's 200 and the idea was always to be 200. 100 is a typo, so is not more work than you should.
I see your point but if it says 100 and I have to do double that my point of view is it’s double the work.
No, it's not. It's the work that was intended to be. If it says "100 times" and, at the same time "0/200", it's your assumption that the first is the correct one.
Anyway, it's interesting how playing a game is considered nowadays "working".
