Why do I keep getting "rare" byes in the Grand Arena?

I just got my 2nd bye in one GA tournament, screwing me out of around 20,000 points, multiple feats, event rewards, and league rewards. This is now my 3rd bye in 2 official GA's. How can I lessen the...

Also based on your 15,415 currently, if you’ve lost 20,000 points, that would put you at 35,415, which is nearly 5,000 points ahead of the top spot in Division 1 right now. Somehow your math seems way off.
