Why does the weakest character get called for an assist at least 80% of the time?

Not even an exaggeration. Whenever 86 does his assist attack JE is called almost every time with his stupid bombs that get resisted more often than they land and take forever to explode. The same goes for QGJ/Barriss in the GW.

The programming in this game is so cheap. Instead of making the AI more intelligent they screw the actual player and buff the AI's everything. Better assists, higher dodge rate for cheap ass dodge leads, Leia shooting like she's at the OK Corral yet my Leia shoots once, etc.

They know they're weak so they try help as much as they can?But on a serious note it is annoying, although teebo seems to assist a lot on the pigs for me which is just awesome when it does happen.

This is so, so true. Barris and RG get called to assist every time in GW, Leia and Rey just stand there picking their noses.
