Why does Wedges X-Wing die so easily?
Finally got the U-Wing and crew and am trying to up the Home One stars for the chimaera event and just general butt kicking, but no matter what, Wedges X-Wing continues to be killed by one or two hits...

Well, it doesn’t help that his gear is only at tier 8. Pilots really need to have G10+ before they start being OK. But yeah, wedge is pretty terrible even with good gear. He used to be good on offense, but with ships 2.0 he got nerfed pretty hard. Focus on Phoenix/Biggs for you LS ships, they’re a lot better and will help more for the challenges. I got ackbar to 6* before 2.0, so not sure if it’s still accurate with the big buff the enemies got, but I seem to remembering Ashoka being pretty useful for knocking out all the enemies’ buffs.
