Those toons have been around for years and most players have them reliced already for JKL and JML. You gotta go for the less obvious characters and think like $$CG$$ does. R8 “Farmboy “ Luke and R8 Stormtrooper Han would be more like it. Then throw in some garbage like an R5 Greedo and R5 stormtrooper those are some toons that nobody in there right mind would want to gear up and relic.

They will likely not release more resistance ships cause it would allow Raddus to get to ultimate faster. That's probably why they haven't done it. It would require overhaul of a lot of fleets.

Edit - although, an easy way around this would be to make a pretaunting bomber with no unique ability. That would make some sense too because it's only ability in cinema was pretaunting and dropping bombs.
