I wonder why, despite being the most popular character in Star Wars and the hardest to obtain in SWGOH, lord vader is so weak. The amount of work you have to do to obtain him is enormous and isn’t worth getting slamed by almost everything. I just think that he should be better, given that he has the most fanbase and is so hard to posses. I just don’t see the reason why ea makes him so bad.
Because he didn’t drive sales. GL Mando will probably suck also and only be useful in the raid only.

I dont know about that. There is a lot people complaining about him being weak and the darth vader character is also always being used in promotions of the game. Because in star wars he is easily the most liked character. Almost everyone loves lord vader and even if swgoh community is different there is no way that rey or palpatine has a bigger fanbase. So i still think he would be a great money maker if he wouldnt suck **bleep** in game.
Its a great team against teams without gls but almost every gl defeats him. And there is a lot teams without gls that destroy him and cost a lot less grind.

Well...OK. I see where we're going here. A fact with a pinch of hyperbole. The newer the GL, the harder they are to obtain. As he's 6-11 he's pretty much right in the middle of the GLs.

Another pinch...You definitely could argue that before he got his clone update. Now, he's certainly not weak, but we do keep finding ways of beating him, true. I'm not sad about where he is in the game, Vader and the clones is a pretty good team.

Back in the day, you could buy these circular bases. They had a little...knob that stuck out and matched the hole in the figures foot. They fell over far less with these, but would you buy one for each figure? Or would you just pose them so that they leaned against a wall or something?

I wonder if you don't have the clones to go with him yet? Even so, he can be a pain with some tanky fellows. I'm sure with that Maul cron right now he might also be scary. Once though, you have the clones and he's not the only GL you're relying on, you might find he's in an OK I place.
When I was talking about him being the most liked character I was refering to anakin/vader which im confident is. About him being new, hondo was released later and is easier to get. And compering his power to the amount of grind you need for him, he is pretty weak. And i didnt know that about ea but ea is very greedy so maybe its for better.

How did you come to that conclusion?
LV has 15 requirements in total. 6 relic 5s, 4 relic 7s, 4 relic 8s and 1 ship. All the characters are marques apart from Padme which is quite an easy event.
Hondo has 16 requirements in total. 1 relic 3. 1 relic 5. 2 relic 6s. 4 relic 7s. 3 relic 8s, 3 relic 9s and 1 ship. 2 of the characters are event unlocks. GAS is a distinctly harder even than Padme. The pirates have only just become double drop and LST purchasable (I think). There is 1 extra character and 9 extra relic levels. 3 of which are a much harder to get relic 9.
In my eyes Hondo is harder to obtain.

Do you have the clones to go with him? How is your account looking? The one issue we find is that the power creep (new characters becoming more and more powerful) is extremely noticeable; the older a character gets, the less is their worth.

if you actually understand the New Republic kits you would realize that he is going to be annoying on defense (with constant ability blocks and cooldown increase from Ward), the fact that the animation takes a long time (and if R5 makes the team then he will assist whenever another ally uses a special and his basic animation is long), daze and stun is not a problem due to Grogu & Anzellans and finally Zeb and by extension Mando are Tanks and likely have crazy evasion (Zeb already has crazy evasion)
