Why isn't Darth Maul free to play yet?

@CG_Kozispoon is there a reason why he isn't free-to-play yet? I'm just kind of confused as to why Wedge, B2 and Kit became free now but not Darth Maul. Wedge and B2 were brought into the game after Darth Maul and i've been patiently waiting for him so i can finally unlock and use my favorite character.

Please let us know why he isn't free yet, because i understand that we won't be told when he will be free.

please tell me that's a joke. If Darth Maul replaces Grievous that will be the worst. Especially since people have already paid and unlocked him.

You'd get your wish. He will be F2P after about 6-12 months of shard shop conversion, AND he will destroy anyone in the game with ease.

hahaha i said i wanted him, not for him to destroy anyone with ease. but as my favorite character i guess i wouldn't be too mad.
