Will droids get some love soon?

So I invested in a droid team and it paid off very well so far, I was able to always be top10 and sometimes even #1 when the ranking favours me. But I'm starting to lag behind. All those new character...

OP: if you've been constantly top 10 and sometimes top 1, you've gotten tons of crystals...what have you been working that you don't have viable replacement options? This game has always been about shifting power balances and new metas.
