Wish I never zetaed maul

i must say, all those "new" faces in the top20 with zmaul teams are almost completely gone out of the top20 once again. The players with zMaul who were already top20 are still there though.

It's not just the zDM bug change - he has been in a long-term downward trend and there's multiple issues impacting zDM's effectiveness that will continue to bleed in everyone's leaderboards:

1. GK usage and build rate will continue to go up over time
2. Chaze usage and build rate will continue to go up over time
3. The Rex shift, which should mostly be in play already, but as 1 and 2 above also get stuck behind Rex the impact increases
4. R2D2 usage and build rate will continue to go up over time (he's skyrocketing in usage even on gg)

Combine all those factors to a bug fix on Maul that was very relevant to his team and it's a constant drip drip drip pushing down the utility of Maul. I doubt it's just the bug fix, likely a combo of 1 - 4 going on as well.

I run zMaul and can beat any team on my shard. Triple cleanse, GK, Chaze, R2, whatever.. At the same time I'm sure all those teams can beat me. So is Maul dead? No. Just seems to me like we have a pretty well balanced arena right now. I'm always top 10 for payout. Top3 if I have the time to fight during payout time. I do change my squad up a bit depending on who I play. I can throw in Chaze, zKylo, zSO, B2, SA, So I can run different combos depending on opponent. Makes Arena more fun imo. And imo those cleanse teams are super easy to beat so I'm glad to see more of those I can beat. Other Maul teams are more RNG. Also I see so many different teams on my shard now. QGJ, GK leads, Rex, Maul, Vader, Phasma, R1 team. So much diversity and i think it's great and is certainly better then only fighting two different teams..
