With this update, is Cad Bane now viable?

The update? No. Deflection is evasion for special damage. Leader abilities that grant evasion grant equal deflection. Cad's for some reason didn't. So it's just an evasion increase.

The way I read it, it was that under Cad Bane leadership he would give his team Deflection as a buff. I guess I read it wrong. My bad

It's just that deflection is pretty much never referenced, because it's incorporated into evasion for every ability/buff, so it is strange to see a direct reference to it.

Right? Anyway, if it's just part of evasion then that's a meta or two ago so kind of irrelevant since it's not Zaul

I had to ask my guild what it deflection was. Got real excited cad bane was gonna be decent for arena until I found out what it is. Now I'm just sad he'll stay on my scoundrel team I auto "events" with. Maybe he'll get a zeta that'll help but I'm staying away from all zeta lead abilities until I have at least 6.
