Worth A Try - Game Freeze Solution?

This doesn't work at all, I've tried it several times and the freezes still happen. It's not a phone related issue, is a code/game issue, I've done clean installs, cleared all my cache, from all the apps and the phone itself, disabled the Game Booster and Game Launcher app and the freezes keep happening. All this Game Booster/Launcher thing is just an attempt from CG to blame it on something else.

CG is probably overlooking that the game doesn't actually crashes/freezes so it's not like your phone kills the game because it's "resource intensive".

In TW (I checked it in the last one and the previous ones) if you go into a battle and the game "freezes", the battle is still happening, so I went in, my game froze and my guildmates told me the UI was showing that I was in a battle, it kept it like that for 4 minutes, it only showed "1 attempt" and no progress until I force closed my game (by my guildmates request to not preload), so the game connection with CGs servers wasn't cut until I closed the game.

So the thing that is happening is that the thing that freezes is the screen of the game, the visuals or whatever you want to call it, for some reason it gets stuck into whatever the transition animation is at the moment and becomes unresponsive, i.e. doesn't allow you to click on anything, but the game is still running and connected to CGs servers.

Worth a shot. I disabled it, but did not see anywhere in it's settings for game optimizations. Since I am freezing 2-3x a day, should know pretty soon wether it worked.

Made it thru 4 TW battles ?

So I tried what the OP suggested. I also didn't see something for Game Optimization, but the short cut for the game did disappear and I couldn't figure out how to reapply it.

I deleted the game, re-installed it, but still, the only shortcut was via the Game Launcher app, which is now how I access the game. Since doing all this ( roughly 12 battles ) I have not crashed when before, I would have most certainly have crashed at least once by now. So fingers crossed.

Quick update: right after I posted, my game froze while simming a battle. It still hasn't happened yet going into a battle I'm trying to fight in.

You could be onto something. I have a Note10+, and have not encountered the crash issue others have had.

I disabled the Samsung Launcher years ago.

I tried this myself and am still getting the crash.

I also had a freeze and an immediate 2nd freeze after restart yesterday when doing some very quick menu hoppings, so it's defnitely not gone completely. Just feels like it got better and not as frequent.

Made it thru 4 TW battles ?

And made it through all my GAC battles with no freeze. Can't say its fixed yet but definitely better.
