Wrongfully banned
It’s come to my attention that like myself, lots of people have been wrongfully banned on Star Wars galaxy of heroes. I have spent a huge amount of effort, time and money on this game and my account is well over 5 years old if not 10. I am disgusted by the ignorance of the people at EA sports and capital games who are inconveniencing a loyal player base on a regular basis with game breaking bugs and now they’ve banned numerous innocent customers. Many of which are those who spend large amounts of time and money on the game. I like to think that such an injustice will be addressed relatively quickly yet my experience with their customer support over the years, doesnt fill me with optimism. They should not be allowed to wrongfully ban me or anybody else from a game we enjoy and quite frankly it is not good for anybody’s mental health to have to deal with the inconvenience this has caused, especially those who have invested money into the game and feel betrayed. I can only plead that this issue is sorted adequately and that we are compensated for our mistreatment. The company should have to take accountability for their inadequacy and show some remorse for exploiting customers, especially those who have spent large amounts of money on the game. To clarify, I have never breached terms of services on SWGOH, have only ever played the game as a big Star Wars fan who enjoyed the concept of the game. Now unable to login to my account, when you press customer support it suggests that you will be emailed a reason for being banned, which they say on the game when trying to login, is for repeated offences. I never received a single warning for my conduct (because I have never cheated or done anything wrong) and wasn’t informed via email about the reason for my ban, which they said would be the case. Clearly this is a bug or mistake in their automated banning system, if employing tactics like this to ban people, accountability must be taken when it goes as badly wrong as this has. As a game that is 9+ on the App Store, partially aimed at children I’m sure the press would be interested in how a huge company like this is exploiting people and taking little to no concern for their customers as long as they are pocketing a healthy profit from this game.
