Y'all, what should I do with my crystals?

I have a question, y'all... but, before I get there, I need to set the stage.  I am a 3.3 million GPU, F2P player... and I have two main options I see before me.  Prior to the beginning of the Era of Myths & Legends, I had never gone for one of the special Era characters [Maul (Hate-Fueled), Cassian Andor (Undercover), and Rotta the Hutt]... however, I decided to save crystals to try getting Darth Jar Jar.  I managed to get a 4 star Mara Jade Skywalker after 3 attempts... which cost about 3,900 crystals.  I have about half of that saved already for Yoda (Dark Side Version).  Is it better/ wiser to upgrade 6 Era characters to 4 stars (that takes approximately 23,400 crystals) or simply upgrade my Gear XII Kenobi and Padmé to Gear XIII?  I appreciate any advice!  God bless.

    I will probably go the route of 4 star Era characters, then.  The main reason I am using kyber crystals to upgrade characters is that I use the mk 2 Raid Tokens for purchasing Relic upgrade parts.  I am going for Baylan Skoll and General Skywalker at the same time... and I just need 1-2 Relic levels higher on 3 characters before I finish the prerequisites for Baylon.  Thank you for your advice!

    Generally, I would say just keep on the 4* route, especially if you already have Mara at 4 stars. The extra era currency and LSTs are nice. But also, I don’t understand why upgrading kenobi padme would cost a considerable amount of crystals? If I need g12 gear fast I typically buy it with mk 2 raid tokens.
