You guys notice Poggle's beard?
The other Geonosians don't have anything like it. They''re kind of insects. Insects have chitan-based exoskelatons. Is this Poggle beard a hair-like keratin beard or some kind of stiff shell-like growth protrusion?

- I’ve personally never found anything written from Poggle’s CGI design team, there is mention of him in the DVD commentary the making of. There’s also plenty from Coleman’s team concerning Yoda.
In the DVD commentary, it is stated that Poggle was made to look different than other Geonosians so it was obvious he was their leader, similar to how Boss Nass was designed to look different from the other Gungans. "USAFmedic129;c-1925917" wrote:
