Imo since Tarkin is so debuff heavy, if you use light side ships you're hurting yourself
I run my first 5 as Tie fighter, Tie advanced, consular, Biggs, and FO tie. Backup is slave 1, GS, and then sun fac
The goal is to Target Lock everyone, so basic ability with all the ties at first for up to 3 locks, then consular call advanced for a fourth. Then usually my biggs dies but everyone else is full health, I call in slave 1, target the 5th that isn't locked, and use his aoe to ability block everyone. From there it's just clean up
