They already offer an omega pack for 1699 crystals that comes around every month or so.

No? There are several more means/opportunities to obtain omegas than zetas.
Zetas are relatively plentiful compared to Omegas, but compared to other resources and the sheer amount of new squads that require them (sometimes multiple mats) to operate maximally, i’d say there’s still a crunch.
Saying I think there is more of an Omega crunch is fine, but it doesn’t negate someone’s opinion that there is also a zeta crunch. You can have more than one crunch, which is what’s going on here.
There's definitely a crunch for both, which sucks, but that comes with the resource management aspect of the game. Omegas, however, have never been rarer to obtain than zetas.
