Zeta Vader team??
Hello, I have Zetad my Vader and I'm wondering which is the best Arena team with Zader in charge? I'm currently running Zader L, TFP, Palp, Boba and RG I'm thinking of Zader L, Boba, RG, SF and ma...

I have a similar team but I have pulled EP and TFP in favour of Boba and GK. I find TFP is a liability on defense against fast Chirruts and Rex leads.

Rex maybe, but not chirrut. Tfp is the fastest toon in the game. He is essential to chain the tm reduction. He also places aoe debuff to prevent chirrut from granting anyone tenacity up on his cleanse. Now boba could sub in for shore and rain his aoe silence down on everyone preventing Rex from using his special.
My current team is incredibly effectively vs opposing Zader even when I defend. I am simply faster than them. I'd bet I would be far worse with gk and boba since that is 2 toons who fail to reduce the tm.
My problem with TFP is that his potency isn't very high without Palps as lead. More often than not I have 2 or 3 toons that resist the debuff and they can get tenacity up. Sid is much more reliable for getting a debuff to land on all 5. GK triples Shore's lifespan by adding crit immunity.
I should also point out that I am the only Vader zeta on my shard. Everyone else for the most part runs Chaze, Wiggs, GK and/or Zarris and still a Rex lead hybrid. So the tm reduction is less of a concern as debuff/buffs building.
My tfp has about 61% potency. For my opponent to gain any tenacity, they would need 77% tenacity and that is just a 1% increase to the standard 15%. So potency shouldn't be an issue.
Now for gk, I use to use him in my palp lead team and he was great. The difference now is, my opponent doesn't get many attacks in at all. Every member of my team reduces tm so I get many attacks. Frequently, the only hits come from counter attacks and that's another reason why I maintain shore in the squad.
It's tough when Chirrut has a +120 speed set and your TFP can only get to 246. I also don't like to count on tm reduction as it's a coin toss everytime. I prefer something a little more constant.
