That happens sometimes. The tm and counter loops can be annoying. If you hit a resistance squad with Poe that is faster than you, you may not get a turn. Then there are infinite heal loops. I know someone that was stuck in a loop in TB for over 4 hours on auto with Biggs vs special ops trooper. He finally had to forfeit to end it because there was never going to be an end to the battle.
