That's you fighting them on offense though. If they can keep count of Tarkin's turn when they are fighting them on offense, they definitely have enough time to get in the immunity. They'll have the immunity ability ready for at least two of Mace's turns before Tie Attack is ready. It's just a pain to time.

TFP if multiple dodges, feeds GMT 30% turn meter each dodge, the opponent can make it to the 5th turn for the AOE
Hmm, I don't fight too many Tarkins, I think just one in my shard. Sounds like quite the bummer there.- Valor, AOE Valor, inflicting target lock, hitting target locked enemies with the Valor AOE, 18% offense if less than full health, of set things up right, you can run amok with turn meter (why I use Bistan). Then there's the Tarkin AOE defense as well.
AA teams start off a little faster, but once the tm train starts rolling, it's nowhere near a fair fight. Mace lead is also good for those pesky Rex squads that keep giving back protection, you just run circles around them with tm, target lock a few of them, AOE, pay me "Ender22;c-1185543" wrote:

I only use dmg immunity if it looks like I can't win before GMT 5th turn. Usually on O the rng goes my way and I finish before his 5th turn, this is true- The flip side is, on O GMT, if maxed with the three Tie fighters, can kill off one of yours causing a relief instead of Valor AOE, then they can keep hammering without giving tm because they're not damaging valor ships
- I've always wanted to try Ackbar though. They've released so many good rebel ships lately, leaving Galactic Republic behind.

You should really clarify what you mean by holding your own. Does that mean top 5 every day? If so, is your shard an original ship shard or one that was created after ships were implemented? What kind of set up do you know of that are top 5 on an OG shard? I'm only Nov. '16 :/
