Also when you suggest farming character shards for pilots, Maul & SF specifically, do you mean farm them all the way up to 7*? 5*? Just activate em?

Well, I buy every TIE advanced I can get. But I must say Vader had no use for me yet and I already bought too many shards for him. All the rewards for lvl85, for light side/dark side node 9 and future assault battles, these shards went to the shard shop. So if you don't really want a dark side team, you can slow Vader farming a little.
I will probably zeta Vader next for raids but it is not really needed. The TIE advanced together with Fives, FOTP and TFP will be a great target lock team, but this will take some time. Also Maul and SF shards you can buy via the guild store only if you don't have enough tokens. I meant to 7* them though. So I would rather get every TIE advanced x1 shards than a SF/Maul in the fleet store.
