Another Jedi 5th man question!

I’ve currently hit 16th in my Arena 2 days in a row with

zBastila, zGMY, Ezra, Old Ben and QGJ
QGJ is pretty maxed but obviously the weak link. His Dispel/Group Offence up and Assist attack are quite useful.

If I’m sticking with a pure Jedi team which of the following would you guys recommend:

1) Farm and Gear Aayla from scratch (not even unlocked)....
2) Find Stun Guns and Gear up Kanan and replace.
3) Keep QGJ, Gear up Jolee and wait for him to be farmable and replace with him

I won’t have Hoda for a while and my Guild is only just @ HAAT readiness (so GK will be a while)

    he need 0 potency actually. his basic 40% potency is enough, especially since he inflict tendown, and he also dispel before inflicting tendown, so he wont face tenacityUp. also, with bast he'll have legendary BM, so his potency will be overkill. i think that his cross should be offense.
    optimal mods would be : Speed arrow, CD triangle, Offense cross. CD set + HP set, as much as speed secondary you can have, and as much offense. CC, no need, potency, no need.

    I love using JKA in my squad! He lands buffs all the time and he hits like a truck. His buffed aoe can clear everyone's protection easily. Or as spicy pointed out kill several characters at once

    Barriss seems a waste on a protection based team....she would add nothing to the early/mid phase I would have thought? And unless Jedi have made it 5 vs 3 by then they are doing something wrong.


    Why are you running a protection based team, bonus protection buffs base upon health, so your Bastilla running health mods will give a much better bonus. If you run Jolee then he is a character that totally uses 3x health mods with health secondaries.

    Kannan is surprisingly really good for that team. especially a double tank version with old ben, since you don't have soda yet. Should be the easiest for you to finish and get more competitive quickly.

    Bastila gives a protection buff - I.e. Protection based Team.
    I’m well aware of the maths behind how that’s generated.

    What it means is that Barriss is doing virtually nothing for first 2 or 3 turns.
