Agree with what's been said about having a solid A team with at least three good healers and a few attackers to sub in or out depending on the team. As another newish player in the low 60's I've found two other strategies helpful 1) have a suicide squad or two that can use up the AI's AoE attacks, they still have to go through their cool down even after you lose the round so if you can get them to use up their specials that'll give you a leg up when you bring in your A squad, even better if you can take out a toon in the process. 2) use retreat! The battle will unfold the same way every single time unless you change something. Meaning: if you go through 5 turns and on the 6 you screw something up, then retreat and start over. If you make the the same 5 moves to start, the battle will unfold the exact same way then just make a different 6th move. If that works then keep going, if it blows up in your face, then start over. It can be a little time consuming on the harder battles but you can unlock most battles like a puzzle. That said, whenever I come up against a team where every toon has 1,000 power higher than my highest toon, I'll just say f that and come back tomorrow
