and sensibly? No. Sensibly would be doing your fights near your own payout time to get the highest rank possible before payout happens, not hours before when you would more likely get hit backwards and end up with worse ranking.

Did you ever consider that the game can be played in different ways? That your way is not the only one? That different players have fun in different ways?

1. He claimed he wasn't online when his account had activity. That's potentially account sharing. The only way to verify whether or not it is, is to have someone, namely someone at CG, because I don't have the tools to check myself, check what IPs were logging into the account. Only CG or EA can do this. It's not cheating but it is a violation of the TOS.

So, you admit you reported cheating without having proof.

2. I consider more that you're just a contrarian seeking to make excuses for someone just because you personally don't like me.

I sometimes do my moving earlier than my payout, if something stops me being there at the time, or as I said, you don't know when his payout is, if it's the next hour, following you would be a much easier strategy than facing teams he doesn't reliably beat, then 50 crystals can keep him there with fewer battles to run, smart guy.

Just because something is personal doesn't prevent it from being advantageous, they aren't mutually exclusive. Also applies to someone not liking you not meaning they are wrong when they disagree. @Waqui is making a perfectly reasonable point than reporting someone of cheating without prove is stupid.

You can't do battles if someone is currently battling you, so yes, he was preventing me from starting battles and even playing.

There is no way as a player to prove someone is account sharing but it is illegal to do, you can only have suspicion or probable cause, which in this case would be his claim that he was not in game when his account went up ranks in arena.
If there's probable cause you should probably report it, and if they find there are 2 different IPs on the account, they'll decide what to do with it, but I wouldn't be surprised if it resulted in a ban. Investigating account sharing is basically limited to that. If it's 2 different people using the same device or devices on the same router so the public IP would be the same, well then there's really no way to catch it, or prove it.

You do realize OP that the entire thread is people who disagree with about everything you said. This rarely happens. You're just so clueless and quit trying to dictate how someone else plays. It's not against the rules and you're just an unlikable person and are getting attacked because of that. My advice, git gud and quit throwing fits when things don't match your perceived expectations.

That's not playing smart at all, and if you agree that that's a smart way to play the game, I don't know where to begin.

Your options are the same now as they were when you first posted: talk or fight. CG is not going to change the way things work just for you.

As already described in one of my early comments, I was once falsely accused of having hit a fellow shard chat mate. So, I have experience with what you described. We handled it a bit differently than you, though.

They think it's totally fair if someone blows crystals to idle with your squad in combat to keep them from doing anything.

Noone is required to play fair (however you would define fair). It's an arena. You can battle whomever you can target at any time you like.

But if it were happening to them, they'd probably be just as angry about it.

When the thread started, most the people understood what was going on.
There's only about 2-3 of you, who somehow insist on believing that I wrongly accused the guy of lying about attacking me, mostly just to spite me is what I'm getting out of it. You don't like me personally so you choose to believe the other guy, and imply that I'm an idiot that can't read and that I've picked on this POOR POOR SNIPER by saying he was lying or account sharing unfairly because you think I'm blind or something and cannot read the name of the person who was in the rank I was just in 10 seconds ago.
That's insulting you know. To be told I must have made some mistake that the guy who's in rank 25 a few seconds after the game told me my rank changed is NOT the guy who attacked me, and telling me I should apologize to the guy. Because he MUST be telling the truth and there's NO WAY he was account sharing.

Look man, you might be that blind, but I'm not. If I'm spamming refresh waiting to see when the "Somebody is already battling you." message stops, I'm paying very close attention to what rank I'm currently at, and when I get the one that says "Your rank has recently changed.", I look at who's in that rank now. That's the person who attacked me because nobody else could have beaten them in under 10s to replace them, he also moved up in rank, not down, because he did it twice, and I was paying attention twice.

So again. Account sharing, or lying.
Account sharing should be reported.

all I can say to him is play smart, don't just randomly attack, stick to your payout time and you'll do better for yourself, and if you have common courtesy for other people's payout times, they'll have common courtesy for you, and you'll both have better payouts.
and I say the same to you if your playstyle is to just attack without thinking about your own payout time. You'll do better if you don't. Or you can go ahead and keep wasting fights, ending up with crappy payouts. Your problem.
