Right, so I'm approaching my first zeta, and I'm deliberating who to put it on. Sith are my most heavily invested faction and I'm currently running a Nihlus lead in arena, but IMO his zetas don't seem to make him significantly enough better to make much of a difference (his unique might be good as a 3rd/4th zeta, but not my first).I'm thinking about putting it on Maul and using him as my new leader, but has he been made redundant now or is he still worth the investment? It seems that he stopped being viable due to rex leads, but my arena shard has very few of them, and he could be a good CLS counter.I was also considering putting my zeta on Savage, but it seems a bit wasted under a Nihlus lead (HoT and crit chance/dmg up are redundant), and the only other lead I could run him under would be Maul, and without the zeta, Maul's lead isn't anything special.Here's my SWGOH; https://swgoh.gg/u/wheelbarrow/

One of my guildies uses a Zaul team (in an old leaderborad, more than a year old) and he gets first place everyday. He uses Zaul, EP, DN, ST and SA.

Downside of Maul is that he doesn't have a ton of uses outside of arena. You might be better off going with Vader leader zeta as he's still a good all around and works in Rancor or Tank raids. You'll want to get sith assassin on your team to ensure most of your guys are going first.

Zaul is good unless you are facing a team with R2 which nearly all of them do these days.The zeta on Savage is not wasted under DN. Yes, SOME of it is wasted but it is still a solid choice.Still, all things considered, put it on a rebel. They just revamped the Sith and Empire factions and it is clear that both are still woefully behind the rebels.

I'm about to uninstall this game over how badly Sith have been marginalized by all the light side love.R2 makes any fight rough. Add Chaze and GK to enemy lineup and you will never be able to attack anything but a taunting tank that outheals any damage you can put on them.If I were you, I would abandon dark side anything, because aside from DN and Thrawn, there are 20 better rebels to choose from.Don't keep going down a path that will leave you sidelined in arena.

Bingo. I had reasonable success staying in the top of my shard with my DN Zavage SA SiT CD team but that well has dried up. Don't waste your resources on a dark side team anymore for arena.

I was top 5 every day for a month or two, now very difficult to snag top 20, and I have to be close to $1k deep on this game.

I am not spending another dime until CG picks up a dictionary, and understands the definition of balance. Since that isn't likely to happen until some future August, it's just easier to quit and let the mega kraken play.

I ran sith for the longest time. Zaul then ZZDN lead. If you're sticking with Sith, it's not a bad idea to zeta Savage. He might not get all the benefits under DN but his cleanse is very useful. I ran ZZDN, Zavage, SA, ST, Dooku for a long time

An all dark side team is just as good as an all light side team. Typically the best is a combination. Don't go zaul now, R2 counters it hard. Zaul reigned longer than any other meta team and now it's done.

This really depends on your arena shard. It looks like you are normally in the top 200. The next step would be top 100. A Zaul team would improve your Sith team's arena standing. I can't say for certain how far that would take you. It could help you break in to the top 100. However Maul has limited usage currently outside of Arena and GW.

On a side note, an area where you could stand to use improvement is mods. I see a lot of 1-2 dot mods and not all of your squad has +30 speed arrows. You have 1 +30 speed arrow, and 2 +19 speed arrows. The remaining 2 are using health and defense arrows. I would take some time to farm better mods. I'd recommend aiming for 5 sets of good mods so you can field 1 team of well modded toons before going back to character shard farming.
