Baze and Chirrut Imwe

Over the last couple of week, I have completed Galactic War 8-10 times... one day, I had literally one enemy left to finish it but ran out of characters... all the other days I made it to the last round or second to last round.

Today, I got completely wiped out in round 6 and hadn’t even made a dent in the enemy squad. It was a Baze and Chirrut Imwe squad with Jynn E, Wedge, and Biggs. I tried retreating, changing up the squad, changing leader abilities, putting a low level squad to use up some of the AI team’s abilities, etc... I even used Boba, JKA, and Mace Windu... all buff and healing debuffers...

Is this a common problem with this squad combo?

Do I just suck?

What should I do different?
  • Dispel baze's taunt first if you can but it is not necessary. Baze cannot taunt by himself. So waiting until baze takes his turn is a viable alternative to dispel. Avoid any damage on chirrut and use tough characters (no glasscannons) or a strong tank. The only way for baze to taunt again is damage to chirruts health (damage to protection doesn't count) or if someone in your team dies. Kill jyn first (to prevent revive) then wedge then biggs.

Had a brutal one today at 10th battle Nihlus 68/ Ep 80/DV 82/ TFP 82/ RG 73, I’m using Phoenix and only lvl 76 couldn’t kill EP/Nihlus without Vader wrecking me and couldnt kill Vader without my Ezra just from the healing... I really need another team.

Try throwing in rebel squad or if you have an empire-sith thats fine. Ep eats phoenix for supper bruh.

Also remember that every time you face other opponents then they are something of an advertisement for certain characters. You see that a lot in events where you get to use a certain character that you don't have - it's like a test drive. But yes, also in GW - if there are characters that keep hammering you then that would seem to be motivation for you to work (or pay) to get them.

If you can;t beat them, join them! ;)

That was exactly how i got my current roster. First phoenix burned my ass, then after i got full phoenix the Palp zapped the shit out of everything. Now, i dont sim GW to enjoy every last bit of sweet revenge.
  • Unfortunately I had the worst timing on the events, just missed out on both ep/thrawn, and I haven’t want to commit to rebels seeing the meta shift to empire so I’m stuck in Phoenix limbo. Thank god their coming back around so I can extract that sweet revenge

It always works like this mate. I've given up chasing events.

Farm what teams you want - eventually, their time will come.

The alternative is stress, panic-farming and disappointment.

Exactly what I did on the r2 event minus the disappointment
