Ahnaldt101 and Mobilegamer did it already on their respective Youtube channels and the conclusion is that BB-8 won't help in arena against meta teams. Haat Raid is where the little ball can shine though (cf McMole2's youtube channel).

That's right, unfortunately.

But against the CLS gold node 11/12 R2 was critting with his AOE. I used bb8s special twice in that single battle

I use ZResistance (because I don't have cls) in arena and tried zfinn poe RT R2 BB8 and it was a disaster. I switched back to Thrawn at my last try to not lose too many ranks. No interest in arena for me as there is now cls in most of top 50 teams (why i use thrawn)

Not to be combative, I've just mostly seen it used as a "cross-reference" type of thing where the attested source backs up what is being said... which would mean cf is used properly here. That much said, I've mostly seen the abbreviation in Bibles, so I have a fairly limited scope here lol.

OT: I imagine BB-8's presence just sort of keeps Resistance where it already is on the arena ladder. You still have the tenacity up shutdown as well as complicated kits that the AI can't play well.
